Our tour guide was Lotus Lian in Chinese and she was definitely the best part. her English is impeccable, and she gave us so much insight not only the great wall and tombs, but also to live in Beijing and Chinese culture, which was a real added bonus. I will say the Mutianyu section is very steep and is not a particularly easy climb -- don't take any heavy camera bags or items, and wear comfortable tennis shoes. When we arrived at the Great Wall the guide directed me to the ticket book for the cable car and said she would meet me when I was finished.
