We went during peak season (end April), so both areas were crowded. Sean was able to navigate both areas to avoid the crowds. The guide was excellent and adjusted the program as needed to deal with unexpected situations at some of the sites (e.g. switching Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City around and entering through different gates with limited wait time) and made sure our exact preferences at each attraction was taken care off. Her suggestion to start Day 2 (when we visited the Great Wall) at 7am to avoid long queues was excellent (and we did indeed the long queues). The driver (Tian Wei) likewise made sure to take routes with least traffic and made sure you had a nice cool…”
